Annual Day

12^th of February 2012 witnessed a silent and subtle entry of MIHU – an NGO dedicated to the society and working tirelessly for the upliftment of the poor and the needy by extending a helping hand to the children and the senior citizens of the weaker section of the Society. MIHU celebrated its foundation days 2012 at the Treveni Kala Sangam in the capital. The occasion was graced by Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Ex Chief Minister Uttrakhand and National Vice-President BJP as the Chief Guest, Shri Deepak Mishra, Spl. Commissioner of Delhi Police, P.C.Nainwal (State Minster-Uttranchal), Satish Sharma (Vice-President Mozobere ), , J.P. Singh (Add. Secretary Sathiya Kala Parishad) etc. as Special Guest of Honour and other renowned dignitaries from various fields.

The program began with dedicated offerings to Lord Ganesha to seek his blessings by a beautiful rendition of Gaudhiya Dance by Ms. Piyu Lahiri Roy.This performance memorised all. This was followed by MIHU theme song melodiously by Sunil Agrahari. The General Secretary Mr. Kamal S Bisht read out the Annual Report to enlighten the gathering about the various activities of the NGO conducted in past one year. Audience was impressed of the performance of NGO. A tribute to Gurudev Rabindernath Tagore was sung in the form of Rabindra Sangeet by Mr. Rajib Roy. The Web site of MIHU was inaugurated by the chief Guest. MIHU presented awards to 12 various personalities hailing from different fields in recognition of there exceptional contribution to the Society. The Vote of thanks to the esteemed Guest was given by the MIHU President Shambhu jha . The program concluded with warm discussion over tea and refreshment.

Saraswati Poojan

Date 29th Jan. 2012

A two days programme of spring festival and saraswati poojan was arranged at F/block Khajoori  Khash. The main objective of this programme is to reach Indian culture to every person and maintain its sanctity. Social workers Mr. Parashuram and Mr. Shambhu  Jha  gave all cooperation for the success of the programme. The programme began with Saraswati Poojan. In the evening talented children were given prizes in the field of Arts by all India organization May I help you of khajoori colony. after the prize distribution, Maitheli artists presented cultural items by May I help you which was enjoyed by everyone. The items included mythological songs Jheegheeya chakeva, Dhobia, dance and marriage songs. children presented their talent which kept everybody spellbound. 

 Painting Exhibition

 

A painting Exhibition ‘VOYAGE’ was held in the AIFACS from 4th Jan. to 10th Jan 2012 to promote love for art culture of our country. The leading signatures in the worlds of art come together to signatures in the world of art come together to showcase their talent and unique art work.

To herald the New Year MIHU has organized an ART Exhibition VOYAGE which is An Exhibition on Paintings, Drawings and Prints. ‘VOYAGE’  is showcased by the leading signatures in the field of ART at Rafi Marg. It is organized by May I Help You (MIHU), a dedicated NGO. This beautiful programme started 4th January at 5pm and is on view till 10th January. The paintings of leading artist Mr.  Rajib Roy along with other renowned artists Ms. Samita Nag, M.Firoj Ali, Debasis Nandi, Atanu Mukherjee and Prasenjit Shaw are on display. The different Art forms are on display under one roof. Some other talents are Subrata Mete and Amrita Ghosh which is showcased the leading signatures in the field of Art. MIHU Family has done a good work by exhibiting our Art and culture and inspiring young kids to understand our rich heritage and be a part of this. On this occasion Social Worker Prabhat Raman Director, Dr. Radhakrishnan International School as a chief guest inaugurate the programme & Shambhu jha ,Sunita Rajeev ,Sunil Agrahari, Arun Sode, Vinay Singh etc. were present.

BLOCK PRINTING KO ROZGAAR BANNO

A workshop was conducted dated 5th Nov. 2011 to promote and encourage the talented workers of block –printing at Sanganer,Rajasthan.

A workshop on arts and crafts

Under the auspices of May I Help You a workshop on arts and crafts was organized for teachers at Gyan Deep Model School Ram Nagar Shahdara (Delhi). Where during summer Vacation various kinds of workshop are being organized for children to develop creatively this workshop was organized for teachers to make them more effective and creative Teachers from government and private school look part in it. In the workshop it was pointed out how syllabus can be reached to children artistically. It was also explained how with the help of reading. painting, craft and colour matching how syllabus can be made more applicable. The workshop was inaugurated y principal Lalita Panchal. President of the organization Mr. Shambhu Jha said, such workshop can be very effectively to teachers for their teaching. The workshop was arranged and conducted by Ms. Sarika Bhatnagar.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

 

MIHU’S efforts to encourage tree plantation on dated 5th June 2011 are appreciated as it always promote moral values about conserving environment in all its programs

Report- day out with the young angels of Germany

Date- 7.06.2011

Venue- Youth Centre- Rheinstein ,Cologne, Germany

 

The youth centre in Cologne,Germany namely Rheinstein,offene Tür für alle(open door for everyone) offers support for kids between age 10 to 17  whose parents do not have time for them.The kids get an opportunity there  not only to spend some time with other kids,play games but they also get support in their homework.

Since I was there in cologne in lieu of Student exchange programme,I got an opportunity to spend some time with these kids.Under guidance of my NGO ‘’May I help You’’, I organized a small programme for these kids.I spoke to kids about our country- the country of colours-India and its culture.I had taken some of my traditional Indian Outfits with me.I placed them on a table and showed them to kids.The kids showed interest in them and they wanted to wear them.I made them wear the outfits one by one,we conducted a fashion show and clicked many pictures.

After that I taught the kids how to write and speak their names and few other sentences in Hindi.The enthusiasm shown by kids was more than I had expected.The day came to its end by giving of momento to the the organizational people and gifts to those lovely kids.

It was a life time experience for me and I would certainly never forget this experience.I would like to express my gratitude to my NGO and the Youth centre people for supporting me to their fullest.

 

v  A day out with the young Angels of Germany-Not only in India but also of a day out with young children at a youth centre in Cologne, Germany. Where the young children were made aware if Indian Culture and Music. They were dressed in Indian dress and they also learnt Hindi words with full enthusiasm

BAL KARIYASALA

  

Under the auspices of May I help You a special children workshop was organized dated 29th April 2011 at Rajiv Nagar. In this workshop children were given information regarding Writing, drawing and spills.  The president of the organization Mr.Shambhu Jha pointed out that the aim of the workshop is the develop creativity, skill and make children self dependent. on this occasion coach and trainer Mr.Naveen  Choudhary ,Mr.Vinay  Singh  and Dr.Anu Kumari encouraged children by giving  them teaching aid and materials.
