Event 2016-17

 BAL DIWAS

On occasion of Bal Diwas, MIHU organized an event of Drawing Competition at F/104, Khajoori Colony, Delhi -94.Children of all  secation of society participated in the competition and shown best of their talents on paper. There were so many beautiful drawings which was selected for 1^st ,2^nd& 3^rdprize. We also had interaction with children & discussed what Chacha Nehru has done showing love & care.

NGO MELA- YMCA

Another annual participation for our NGO’s under one Roof, organized by YMCA on 11^th Nov 2016 every year and as every time we dedicated ourselves with our work with the needs and awareness given to our Society so that the people can benefit out of it. We also get prepared with a team of children and youth for this event and then divided them as per the different discipline given to us by YMCA.

We participated in Folk Dance, Poster Making, Rangoli, Mehandi, Talent Search and Race. MIHU members participated in event organized by YMCA as NEW DELHI YMCA 13^thYUVA UTSAV & NGO MELA Theme ‘HamariBeti’and again won Awards in different categories received by the Team MIHU among around 46 NGO’s of Delhi. Moreover our Dance Group of Children also came 3^rd, 1^st in Best Stall Award competition, 3^rd in Fancy Dress, 3^rd in Best out of Waste and 3^rd in poster and collage making.  Mr. Shambhu Jha, Mr. Kamal S Bisht, Dr. Anu Jha, Dr. Sehnaj Begam, Mr. Anoop Pandey, also shared their views with almost every visitor regarding our Theme ‘HAMARI BETI’. We placed the paintings, canvas, drawing, art and some creative Work which was actually done by the rural craftsmen and the children. A great memory and winning Trophyleads us with the promise to achieve excellence also in the Next year Participation.

Independence Day

To remember the martyrs a regular annual celebration was on the Independence Day by MIHU with the Children, Youth all together and with Mr. Akash, the Member of the MIHU. The personalities shared their views with all of us and to continue with the work force on path laid by our Freedom Fighters. And to work on the Freedom which was earned by us. For the importance of Independence which is valued unconditionally and invaluable to us, let us join hands together for the development of the present society. A small party Lunch offered and with a vision ahead. 

PRATIBHA PRADARSHAN

Under the guidance and idea of MIHU NGO a Pratibha Pradarshan program was organized under MIHU on 14^th August in Delhi. People and Children came to participate and show there talent in the program. Children Sang, Danced and shown the Talent of Art along with great curosity to receive success and come as a winner. The Winners were announced and the prizes with Certificates were given to them by the NGO. Mr. Anoop Pandey has been always been a dedicated Team leader all since the member of the NGO and was hence boosted the theme to promote the talent here and to lead them to higher levels from here.

OLD AGE HOME VISIT

As a regular feature of our members who are deeply touched by these great cause is always initiating as a team. We have visited one such Old Age Home in the month of 19 July 2016 and shared here problems and worked out for their solutions. We discussed how we can help the people in need.

DELHI KA BEST DANCING SUPERSTAR SII 

In succession of polishing the hidden talent among youth and children of different classes of society, this year also MIHU have organized an event DELHI KA BEST DANCING SUPERSTARSeason II on 03^rd July 2016 at PriyadarshniVihar, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad.We have arranged the huge gathering and all members of MIHU NGO and idea of the Mr. Kasim, there was participation of children through the Music and Dance Program in Delhi.

It was a real success as we have organized the Competition in different Dancing Categories- Duet/Solo and Age/Class wise events. Most of the Students were from Govt School and the Underpreveledged Section. The program was presidented by Mr. Shambhu Jha along with Mr. Kamal S Bisht, Mr. Lalit (Head Coordinator), Mr. Vinay (Operations) and Mr. Anoop Pandey (Coordinator ) also from the core team. Mr. Kasim, was to look after the Open entries and the Schedule with the event operations. The Chief Guest was Mrs. NeelamBhardwaj, Mr. SatyadevYadav, Mr. Abhimanu Pandey, Dr. Geeta Gangotri, Mr. Manoj Yadav, Mr. Vijay Singh vast talent in the program and in around 14 events we have announced/distributed the Certificates along with the trophies.

TREE PLANTATION

We have successfully organized a Tree Plantation in BIHAR which was organized by in the month of June, 20^th 2016. We distributed the plant saplings and then the group was motivated to plant them as much as possible.

YMCA WORKSHOP

A FCRA Conference & workshop was participated by Mr. Kamal S Bisht on 14thJune, 2016 on theme“WORKSHOP ON NEW GUIDE-LINES FOR FCRA”enhancing the fund raising and the systematic aspects of filing the account. Also we got aware of rules and regulation to be followed for the FCRA in India and further the amendments done recently for the NGO’s fund raising fro abroad. A small party Snacks with Juices offered to participants.

World environment Day 

This Year on the occasion of  World environment Day we celebrated with Children and Youth on 5^th June 2016 has been organized by MIHU and we are continuously celebrating this for last 7 years.

We had the serious discussion on the cleanliness, Health and hygiene with friendly Environment and the Natural Resources.

Also that the present atmosphere has been harming the balance in the natural Process controls and can be disastrous if not taken into consideration in time.

EK KADAM SWACHTA KI ORE

As our basic aim to achieve the better health, hygiene and clean surrounding, we organized a Worksop for children on 22^nd May 2016 in Shriram Colony, Khajoor Khas.

Children were taught how to wash hands, clean nails, bath everyday, clean house and our surroundings by practically showing videos and audio visuals. There was brief lecture and interaction within the workshop among children, members and local people. As a general conclusion we all decided to follow the steps for clean environment, better health and proper hygiene.

स्वामी विवेकानंद सम्मान 2016-17

विश्व को ज्ञान और जागृति का सन्देश देने वाले स्वामी विवेकानंद जी की स्मृति में स्वामी विवेकानंद सम्मान समारोह का आयोजन किया गया | यह समारोह प्रतिष्ठा युवा संगठन के सौजन्य से महाराजा अग्रसेन कॉलेज, दिल्ली में किया गया | इस कार्यक्रम में समाज सेवा के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट  योगदान के लिये स्वामी विवेकानंद सम्मान 2016-17  समाज सेवक एवं शिक्षक शम्भू झा को दिया गया |  कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पूर्वी दिल्ली के जिलाधिकारी कुलानंद जोशी एवं दीन दयाल उपाध्याय धाम मथुरा के अध्यक्ष राजेन्द्र सिंह मौजूद थे |

Yamuna Safai Abhiyan  

It was a successful even last year when we as a team has organized the Clean Yamuna drive for a week. Keeping a regular trend we again organized the event this year; a 4 days drive on Yamuna SafaiAbhiyan.

We move with an idea of cleaning the environment and for the clean water and safe banks of River in Delhi. Yamuna is in the heart and soul of DELHI and we are bound to commit the best for it.

As there was a littering and indisposed garbage on the riverside and in the drains nearby this year. This was not very usual for us. So, we recollect the garbage and dump in a place from where it can be collected by the local municipal for the proper disposal. This was now operated in 3 steps on different days. A well arranged group of our members of NGO worked very hard to get the best. Mr. Shambhu Jha, Mr. Kamal S Bisht, Mr. SatishJha, Mr. Navin, Mrvinay, Mr. Lalitand others participated in the Cleanliness DRIVE.
